Dr. Paulger and his team at Dermatology Associates of West Texas are top notch. Very efficient and friendly.

I went to this office for the first time yesterday, and it was super crowded. My appointment was at 9am, but I arrived 17 minutes late due to me coming from out of town. Me and my bf waited for a while to be called back. When we were called back, we had to wait another 30+ minutes for an assistant to come in and talk to us. After that assistant left, another assistant came in and greeted us, and then the doctor came in maybe 15 minutes after. I seen Dr Sturgeon, and I don’t know if it’s just the way she talks, but she came off as rude. I passed out and hit my head back in December, so I was there for hair loss in that area and to get the knot, that I got from the fall, looked at by her. She looked at my knot and instantly started talking about the hair loss and how it’s from being stressed out, and how my body is crying for help because of how stressed I am. She was talking in a very condescending tone, and I was trying to figure out why she keeps saying that I’m stressed. I wanted her to talk about the knot or something at least, but I had to ask her about my knot instead, which she quickly answered my question by saying how she doesn’t think the knot will go away. Now, I got the knot in December, and it has gone down drastically. I just don’t think she took me seriously when I saw her yesterday. Like any other person, I get stressed out, and there was a time, before my fall, when I was extremely stressed out, but I wasn’t losing my hair from it. My bf, who was with me, also said how Dr Sturgeon spoke to me like I was dumb/stupid, so we both didn’t care for how she was talking to me. If/when I see Dr Sturgeon again, I will say something if she continues to speak to me in that manner.

Fast friendly, excellent care! Highly recommend.

Had a good visit with Dr. Paulger about my wife’s death because she worked for him when he started his practice. Had a few places frozen off.
